RYAN NUSSBAUM

Also a third generation native Houstonian, Ryan studied architecture at Texas A&M University’s Langford College of Architecture. Ryan went on to work as a designer for Barasch Architects in San Luis Obispo, California. It was here he obtained hands-on experience in project management, residential design and development, and client relations.

Following his stint in California, Ryan furthered his education at the University of Houston’s Gerald D. Hines College of Architecture. It was during this time that Ryan began tutoring and mentoring undergraduate architecture students in various design and math courses, allowing his passion for architecture, business, and education to flourish as a result.

Upon completion of his studies, Ryan continued his architecture career as a designer at a leading, internationalarchitecture firm, where he trained under some of the industry’s most respected business and design leaders. Through his involvement in various local and national design projects, Ryan quickly developed a penchant for meeting strict deadlines, collaborating with teammates, and effectively communicating with clients to meet their varied needs.

While looking to add experience in the real estate industry, Ryan’s career led him to a prominent Houston residential real estate company. Learning about the real estate climate during the day, Ryan opted to revisit his passion for teaching in the evenings and on weekends. Working with students of all ages, and from a variety of local private and public schools, Ryan knew he had, once again found his niche. Moreover, his studies and professional experiences have proven a reliable foundation for teaching a variety of subjects; it is his passion and infectious energy towards mentoring young minds that motivates him professionally and personally.

I take great pride in going to extra lengths for our students and families. It is that determination that creates exceptional value in an organization.

Ryan is at his best when faced with adversity and thrives on solving unique challenges. He also offers a level of dependability that is rivaled by few. Other major factors that set Ryan apart and make him a valued leader and educator, are his credibility and focus, his willingness to tirelessly work to meet his students’ and families’ needs, his professional resolve, and his results-oriented approach and execution to education. Ryan’s students, families, and colleagues, alike, compliment his flexibility, positivity, and, above all, his desire and ability to meet and exceed all expectations.
